Chechaouen is a unique town in the Rif mountains, north of Morocco. It was buit by Muslim people who fled from Spain in the 15th century. They brought with them from Spain - mixing Andalucian style with north African motives of the Brebers. This magical town is attracting more and more tourists who come to enjoy the mysterious athmosphere of the blue-lilach washed houses and unique design of mosques.
